Class Action Settlement - Fifth Third Bank -- Get 3X the money you were charged back

The lawsuit alleges that Fifth Third improperly assessed overdraft fees for insufficient funds on debit card purchases and/or ATM withdrawals by "re-sequencing" transactions in order to maximize the number of overdraft fees. Fifth Third denies all of Plaintiff’s claims and says that it did nothing wrong.

Final settlement hearing is in March.

This may be old news, but the settlement agreement has taken place, and I was notified by mail yesterday of this settlement

As a former employee.... it broke my heart everytime I had to decline to waive the fees-- as I had specific guidelines to follow, and was repremanded by Sr. Mgmt every time I broke policy. I ended up quitting over this practice and other extremely unethical things I saw (things I deemed unethical in my opinion).

I do think this should be PINNED, as everyone that had a 5/3 account should take part in this.
