Or even arrested! When backup arrived it could have appeared as though she was also an attacker, since she wasn't a cop. And since cops just shoot first and ask questions later, anything can happen! And there have been plenty of cases where citizens have tried to help the police and later found themselves charged with a crime. Like the nurse a few years ago in Chicago who helped a cop who had been in a car accident -- she was accused of taking his pistol, and it turned out someone else in the crowd that gathered after the wreck did it. This woman was very lucky, never help the police! |

And was willing to kill a cop. Or at least disable him, and try to escape. This would have ended in some sort of standoff... Etc. Or, he could have been cooperative and had much fewer problems. The cop that pulled me over all those years ago and searched my car for weapons after calling for backup was not the nicest person ever. But I got my revenge when all they found was a socket wrench and sockets, some pennies, and a couple of napkins from Jack in the Box. Word had it that my car 'fit a description'.  |
