I've never been to Australian but that doesn't enforce that it does not exist. I've never had contact from anyone in the South pole research station but that doesn't mean that the people there do not exist.

The area of space we are able to search using SETI etc is the equivalent of searching for fish in the ocean by examining a cup of water.

But it's the best we can do right now.

However if advanced civilisations are out there communicating with each other, ship to ship, planet to planet, planet to ship, ship to planet... it's unlikely they're using radiowaves... to slow.

Almost every conventional form of data transmission is far to slow to be practical with such insane distances... even light is too slow.

If they are civ type II or something they might be using wormholes or some shit to transmit data.

That's only as many as we can count...there are far more than what we can see with our stone age tech.

There are an undeterminable amount of other Universes throughout INFINITE space, probably an infinite number of Universes in every possible stage of development. We finites like everything to be finite so we can pigeon-hole it then move on. Sorry, infinite doesn't work that way.
