BREAKING! OMG! WIKILEAKS IS ONLY CREDIBLE WHEN IT MAKES THE USA LOOK BAD!! | |
Riverman User ID: 706657 Netherlands 11/28/2010 05:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | For all those who consistantly criticise American Citizens, AKA "The US", public and foreign policy, the political agenda, and so on, are under the direct control of the government administration, the people are basically kept in the dark and not consulted on the day to day decisions made by those on capitol hill. The actions of those in power, do not always reflect the needs, aspirations and attitude of all the citizens. Even when 70% or more of the US population, don't agree with, and voice their opposition to, any particular legal stance, political position or direction the leaders are proposing, we are ignored and told it's in our best interest. We have been lied to, cheated, manipulated, duped and have been used as pawns in their game of financial greed, lust for power and control, just like many other nations on the planet have. Reaction: Of course, most people from outside the USA make that seperation. But some sidenotes should be made IMO: - Too many americans on here seem seem to go way overboard with their conspiracy-theories and therefore sketching a situation of the TPTB in their own country and the world that just isnt realistic or true, more a situation of believe then trusting on facts / ratio. - If the situation in your country bothers you so much why don't you start your own political party or force the existing parties to change there course. Of course, the current system is partly corrupted by too, but is not like its some evil, overpowering illuminati-system many of you make it out to be (see my first point). Youre still living in a democratic and free country: take you opportunities, fight for it, and dont believe all the conspiracy-hype.. LOL |

You totally missed the point of the thread. What exactly is the point of this thread OP? Help us slow ones out a little N Korea helping Iran and USA spying are not big surprises. Every country spy's, no surprise their. What I can't get passed is, if really important info was being leaked....Wikileaks and owner would be wiped from the internet and planet in seconds. Anonymous Coward User ID: 1177615 United States 11/28/2010 05:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | [link to cablegate.wikileaks.org] ¶8. (S) In recent meetings with senior USG officials, MbZ has expressed clear support for U.S. initiatives against Iran. MbZ and UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid agreed with Secretary Rice February 23 about the need to counter Iran's growing influence in the region and its nuclear ambitions, although they specified that any sanctions should target the key Iranian leadership, not the Iranian people (ref I). MbZ told A/S Welch March 28 that he did not think it was necessary to wait for all Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to agree before proceeding with any plans against Iran (ref E). "Whoever is interested in getting on board ship should be encouraged," he said. "I don't think it's logical or smart to wait for everyone to get involved so we can sail. ... If another GCC member believes it's not right, that's his choice." In the Arab region, MbZ specifically identified Bahrain and Jordan as two countries that also view Iran as a threat and that are "capable to work with us." He told A/S Welch that the UAE would prepare a paper responding to USG concerns about Iran and mechanisms for addressing the challenge posed by Iran. In a March 27 meeting with CENTCOM Commander General Abizaid, MbZ spoke about the Iranian threat with a greater sense of urgency. He was strongly in favor of taking action against Iran and its president sooner rather than later. "I believe this guy is going to take us to war. ... It's a matter of time," MbZ warned, adding that action against Iran and President Ahmedinejad should be taken this year or next year. MbZ said he was unwilling to wait much longer. "Personally, I cannot risk it with a guy like Ahmedinejad. He is young and aggressive." |

User ID: 1160603 Netherlands 11/28/2010 05:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | WIKILEAKS is a diversion for the real story that going on. If you STOP a minute and think for a second. You get the picture. Let's go back in history to IRAK. What was the given publicity to invade that country, supposed to have some kind of a mass destruction weapon. If you look whats going on around the wikileaks files, they are given you a picture that they want country's to go against each other throats. This means crate tension to have an excuse for exercise implantation of laws and pass on bill's for the execution of a bigger out fowling or event in the world like a false flag. PEOPLE please weak up and try to concentrate on the real business that are occurring around every country in world. like Health care cost are rising, economics are collapsing, freedom of speech is becoming very dangerous and could cost you're live, food is being controlled by Geo-engineering making weather so that crops died in fields or cannot sprout, Money is becoming very scares, unemployment is rising, everything that you have right to have, we have to pay for it. This is the 21 century of enslavement. Why don't we all have the birthright (Omega prime being) to have a free living without worrying about food and shelter and money and all complications of live for surviving it. This is then called freedom. We have to push our world to a better place. I made my contribution today in starting a topic of the real world we live in... I leave you for minute to think about it? Peace and Freedom to the people. |

Quoting: Evil TwinThat Wikileaks is controlled and approved propaganda. Well, on GLP there will always be people saying that everyone's an Illuminati puppet, and that all information, even the scandalous, is part of the puppet masters' designed play. While I admit the possibility that Wikileaks is part of the design, I wouldn't be too sure about it, and to me there's more evidence pointing for Wikileaks not being a puppet organization than the opposite. |

Quoting: mr.NightowlI believe the sites were based in the US. I believe the wiki site is not based in the US, so there are issues doing it legally. pirate bay & others werent hosted in the usa the pirate bay is still up. The only sites that were seized, were those that were hosted in the US by US companies. The US gov't has no authority requesting ICANN to change DNS information for sites not hosted in the US. correction - there was one - was it demonoid? one p2p site that was seized. political correctness is a doctrine.... fostered by a delusional, illogical minority...... and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media; which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end. |

Kim Jong-il, the reclusive dictator of North Korea, is described as a “flabby old chap” and someone who had suffered “physical and psychological trauma” as a result of his stroke. Nicolas Sarkozy, French president is decsribed by the US embassy in Paris as having a “thin-skinned and authoritarian personal style”. Silvio Berlusconi, Italian prime minister, is described by the US charge d’affaires in Rome as “feckless, vain, and ineffective as a modern European leader”. Hamid Karzai, Afghan president is described by US diplomats in Kabul as “an extremely weak man who did not listen to facts but was instead easily swayed by anyone who came to report even the most bizarre stories or plots against him”. Robert Mugabe, the president of Zimbabwe, is branded “the crazy old man” by Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, South Africa’s international relations and co-operation minister, according to a cable from Pretoria. Muammar Gaddafi, the Libyan leader, is described as “just strange”, according to an adviser to Sultan Qaboos of Oman. Binyamin Netanyahu, Israeli prime minister, is “elegant and charming” but never keeps his promises, according to a cable from Cairo. " [link to www.ft.com] |
