I had this synchronicity earlier in the week when the Koreas story broke. I was reading a post online which referred to the story as DEFCON 1. Then I went to watch TV and the characters were arguing if it was DEFCON 1 or 5.
The show was the Big Bang Theory. I decided to investigate the episode and discovered that it is referencing the movie Wargames.
“Leonard gets a call from Howard, who seems to be in trouble at the Mars Rover Control Room. It's a Defcon 5 situation, which Leonard doesn't realize means "no danger." But Sheldon, clearly familiar with the movie "Wargames," is more than happy to tell him.”

DEFCON definition:

The movie WarGames is about War Games that lead to WW3!
