Why do you add buddies to your list?

Things are going well at the moment, Inf. New job looming; attractive fun female showing an interest too. Can't complain at all.

Everyone who adds me will be added. I'm kinda disorientated right now, and can't decide who I do and don't like, LOL. So add me if you like me. Heck, add me even if you hate me, haha

I don't pay a lot of attention to it but when I notice that somebody adds me, I go ahead and add them back. I mean, they took they effort to bother with me, so I might as well, right?

Most just do for the person's prestige or their own wish to be popular. Glad you have a variety of reasons. That means you are evaluating on many levels.

Funny thing is, I never add friends at Facebook...even most of my relatives. I keep that to a select little group. GLP doesn't have any personal information on it so who really cares if you have one or one hundred friends?

Good posting merits recognition I list everyone that I see intelligent posts from. Even the ones who don't care for me.
It takes all kinds to make a great forum.


I have 448 people on my list. More than a hundred more than Trinity!! And he has been playing catch up like gangbusters lately.

That makes me the buddy list king!.....for now I am sure.


Post smart and you go on whether we agree or not. I learn much from those with DIFFERING opinions than my own. I see it as an equalizer and reminder to listen to what OTHER people think.

P.S. everyone on this thread with a username have been on mine for a long time. Been at this a while.lol!

I personally put like minded persons on my friends list. People that I have talked too outside of the forums that connect with me and feel and think the same way I do. There are actually some really wonderful people here at GLP.

I never thought of using peer selection with cows before, but then I suppose you could have some ill tempered cows. So, I think that peer selection is a wise choice with both people and animals.

I add buddies that impress me in their responses to threads. And it is nice to have a buddy list to check when I come on line to see who I can have active interchange with or expect a response from right away. Glad to have it!

Believe it or not, animals are far less apt to disappoint you. They are what they portray and never acting to be something else. Peers can be people,domestic animals, and even wild as I have found out more than once. I have an exceptional pull with animals. They trust me when their own owners can't seem to get this from them. I spent a few hrs with the neighbors supposed mean sheep dog, Gandoff and the others. That farmer now comes to me to help with his farm while he is on vacation after witnessing me in the field with his sheep and his dogs. Most won't even walk up to Gandoff, he is huge and looks very mean, with a bred in protection factor that is more than most will get past. He loves me, so does Dan's billies. They come to me as if they are mine.
It is probably sensed that I love all animals. At least that is what I accept as the why.
Never limit self to only humans or you'll miss out on some great friends to remember,....

i don't know who added who first ][nƒ³RnªL but i tend to add based on my interactions with people.

however now i feel like a total heal because i haven't added quite a few people that have added me.. i should have studied up on the buddy list etiquette
