Acolyte has stepped out and revealed himself as OP of the Bezerk thread.

Long time GLP thread-bearer, Acolyte - has made a significant post about his role and reasoning for his many interesting threads on GLP, which includes his RAND involvement and relationship, at: [link to www.godlikeproductions.com]

Followers of the infamous ME TEL U NOW MAY 15 thread, can now find closure about what it was all about, from reading Acolyte's post above.
My understanding is based both from correspondence with Acolyte and from reading his post at the Bezerk thread, and it goes something like this:
- Between the years 1994-99, a CERN-like collider facility (location not disclosed) started receiving communications from what they eventually decided was an entity from a parallel universe/reality-line/probability whatever.
Over that five years, scientists asked around 20,000 questions of the entity, and received around 20,000 answers to those questions. The only reason it stopped, was because when they upgraded some software to be Y2K compliant, they could not reestablish communication with the entity.
I am told NO YEAR DATE was ever specified by the entity. So, the RAND scientists studying the communications obviously started assuming it was getting close in 2008. I think those trigger events look like being more accurate for a 2011 scenario.
Acolyte took the thread questions from GLP people, looked up the matching question and answer from the entity, and posted the reply BASED ON ACTUAL ANSWERS FROM THE ENTITY. I discovered that the personalisations and year dates, were the OP's own disgressionary ad libs.
