(OP) 12/08/2005 10:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Pundit, I take it that you´ve never had the pleasure of meeting Theresa. She´s certainly not a Stepford wife, and given what I´ve observed about her, I highly doubt she´d just plop herself down in the Oval office desk chair. Your assumptions are for naught, anyway, as baby bush was shoved down our throats and sadly we will never know exactly what a Kerry/Edwards team would have been able to do FOR our country. Instead, we have to sit back and bit*ch about what bush is doing TO our country. Horrible times, just horrible. |

(OP) 12/08/2005 10:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Pundit, why do you have to insult or denigrate? Can´t you just make your point, intelligently without debasement? For your information, she is extremely intelligent, charismatic, sincere, and as with many other women involved in politics and service to community, unselfish with her time and her money. Making blanket statements based on emotions rather than fact amounts to absolutely no statement at all, Pundit, except to show ignorance. |

(OP) 12/08/2005 10:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Pundit, you´re not the only one who bases their opinion on what we´re spoon fed by the media. The trick to true insight is by using whatever means is available to you to learn about the subject and not allow the spin doctors to direct your course of reasoning. I have met Theresa, and actually followed her philantropic activities when she was married to a Republican Senator, and I admired her even then. She is a good woman who, in this case, happens to be married to a man who ran for President. |
Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Polly, the reason none of the Bush supporters have replied is that we are so over your crap. He will never be impeached, He will be loved He will put a conservative supreme court judge in. Oh yead his approval rating will continue to go up and up and up. We are turning the bend We see the bluye skies ahead while you whiners stay back in the dark clouds of whatever it is you believe in. I´ve noticed you post less and less What are you going to do when its just you guys who get nuthing done.. I feel sorry for ya. |

"Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story" - excerpt from "Desiderata" |

(OP) 12/08/2005 10:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I´ll take your comments on, A.C. 1500. You wrote: Polly, the reason none of the Bush supporters have replied is that we are so over your crap. Me: Ya think? Nah. Remember, it´s not MY crap. It´s YOUR president´s crap I´m posting about. You wrote: He will never be impeached, He will be loved Me: Give it time, A.C., he may not be impeached, but his actions will be a teaching tool for all Americans to witness what NOT to put in office the next time. You wrote: He will put a conservative supreme court judge in. Me: That´s a given, but that appointment won´t come without more rancor spread throughout the land. You wrote: Oh yead his approval rating will continue to go up and up and up. Me: Highly doubtful. It does not appear he succeeded. First, let’s review where Bush was before the speech to get a sense of just how steep the hill he needed to climb was and then we’ll see how far he got up that hill. Here’s an excerpt from a USA Today story about a Gallup poll conducted on the eve of Bush’s speech. “Just one in three Americans now say the United States and its allies are winning the war, according to a USA TODAY/CNN/Gallup Poll taken Friday through Sunday [June 24-26]. That is a new low, down 9 percentage points since February. Half say neither side is winning..... Read more at link Last Edited by SHR on 10/01/2011 02:04 AM |
