Buried deep within the report was this gem (emphasis added): While Beck’s personal ventures and exposure have soared this year, his television ratings have declined sharply — perhaps another factor in the network’s impatience. His show now averages two million viewers, down from a high of 2.8 million in 2009, according to the Nielsen Ratings. If one would say Stewards people are twice the Becks, I would believe him. But saying it other way around I could also believe him. There is a big following for Beck, that is just true. But Beck's theories do sound like something he cannot keep saying for ever. Or because the republicans come back and he will not attack them, or because down to earth business becomes more important. He is just here, one time, doing his job, of popularizing end times theory and linking it to opponents. His flock will disperse when they see he is not sincere in wanting to change the system. |

People were spread out over a larger area and it wasn't very dense. If you would blow up that picture you could actually start counting the people on it. On the Stewart picture the crowd is pretty compact in a smaller area. |
