Nobody wanted to depend on someone else to make a living. Quoting: Dr. HouseYou have a blind spot when it comes to history. 100+ years ago (1900-1920) there were slave wages, child labor and a good deal of poverty. While many still lived on the farms of the USA, they were working poor, many barely covering their assets from year to year, a decent chunk on the verge of bankruptcy all of their lives. Post World War 1 brought a new idea in living, factory labor. folk started leaving the farm for factory work, they discovered they could earn more while actually working less. even though they were working 16 hour shifts and kids still worked. Post World War II, we have the full swing into working for 'The Man' and living in Suburbia where the 'American Dream' of a three bedroom house, white picket fence, 2.5 kids etc came into being. This American dream brought with it TV, Telephone, new shiny cars, home ownership for many than in any time in history. Actually compared to history our current system is still the 'better' of all we have had to offer for the majority. You better take of the blinders and evaluate today's global economic situation. You must be into mind control and personal effects. |

Everyone really should have one. |

Try buying your own health insurance if you've ever had so much as a sniffle. Even if you've never had one sniffle you'll still pay twice what a group plan charges. In 2014 American's will be permitted to be entrepreneurs again, in the meantime you do so at the risk of your life. |

Quoting: Evil TwinWhat happened to the entrepreneur's spirit? I've been self employed most of my life. I have taken employee positions a few times, briefly, when times were tight, but I hated every single minute of it. I can't imagine being happy working for someone else my entire life. the logical song go listen to it now. supertramp will explain it better and in a way you will remember Christians have had to face and realize their own sins, and feel compelled to try and help others as well. This chant of Holier than thou is wrong and is taught by others making you think what is cool or acceptable to them. The thought of "believe as i do" is strongly in an unbelievers life, because they feel they will be ridiculed by their friends. Every falsehood a unbeliver weilds, is merely a reflection of the obstacles that unbeliever must face from his very own peers. Unbelievers are the true followers, they are dedicated to fear of what other people think of them. And because of this, they are ashamed of themselves, but wall themselves up to feel comfortable and safe, assuring themselves with rationality and laughter. Which is insanity! oxxxxx§:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+> |

Quoting: Evil TwinThan smart asses started shit like general oil and buying up, all independent oil companies, in reality taking part of their profit. The independent became a wage worker, part of profit got stolen by new boss. Monopolies began getting shape... Time is a great teacher, unfortunately it kills all its pupils. |
