Since the verse you are referring to is in the book of Hebrews, written to and for Hebrews, assembling together means the keeping of the Feasts of the Lord which were also called Holy Convocations or Assemblies.

Nice to have a day of rest, but unless God Puts it upon your heart to observe without fail, there is no error in going about tending to matters you need tend to and living your life, In-HIS-Accord, as you would do every day if Ezk 36:26-27 Born-Again...

This is my thoughts on the Sabbath, there are 13 tribes, and 13 luna mounths in a year.

Im thinking each of these men are symbolic for each mounth, the one known as Jesus is in the middle, 7th mounth.

Now could it be that not only the 7th day is holy but also the 7th mounth, and 7th year, and also every 49 years, which is 7 times 7, you get an Jubillee year, also celebrated by the ancient hebrews.
