Are the masons like your dad tied to any specific religious group ?

I'll see if I can do that....ask him what the Masons said was going to happen, see if he answers me.

I did ask him this afternoon if he was being sarcastic with me the other day, when he told me that.
His reply was, "no, I was being dead serious about there being other people in control, behind the scenes...I really do think they exist"

I'm kinda getting the feeling that to him, none of what they said was real to him.
Like he thought it was some made-up kind of 'game' that a social order/fraternity used to use as a reason to throw a party...but it wasn't real.....like he never took anything they said seriously, because he thought it was a made up story.
Much like his being a Catholic, and never really believing all the stories in the Bible, or the Ritual parts of it....to him, religion, being Catholic was about showing up on Holidays for Mass....he never really believed it all, like Purgatory, or Hell, never took 'sinning' seriously.... or Confession.
I think he viewed them both the same way....but now maybe, he's realizing that the stuff the Masons spoke of wasn't just a story to scare people, it was real, and he's seeing it happen.

I personally HAVE GIVEN away everything I've ever worked for, or owned.
I've done it 3 times now.
Right now , at the moment, the only 'things' I own are my 97 truck, and my personal/art belongings, tools for work.
It could all fit in the back of my lil truck.

My Dad is Catholic, and my mother's family are Methodists and Southern Baptists.
I'm not sure about Jewish people, or Mormons, ect..

No, he was a Ford man, worked for 45+ years for them.
Started out on the assembly line, then eventually became their 'house painter', did all the signs and murals in the plant, used to do portraits of the bosses that were retiring as a 'parting gift' from Ford.

Have you asked him why he chooses to worship lucifer, the light-bearer? Why would he wamnt to do that? Been deceived perhaps....

Hey, thanks for sharing this! I was just discussing this with my elderly parents. Back in the late 70's I went to a girlfriends DeMolay (?) ceremony. Looking back I have no idea what I was attending. It seemed like a "coming out" sort of thing because she was around 16 or so. Being raised Catholic I was used to creepy stuff, but this felt super creepy. All the symbolisms and weird outfits. I really felt I din't belong there, and this was long before I know what I know now.

What's the big deal? He hasn't told you anything so far.. You act like you are afraid to ask him questions.. Nothing interesting about admitting there is bloodline that rules the planet. Grow a pair. Ask him to tell you every secret he knows and then report back to us..

Well, I have been asking him questions for years, but the answer I got the other day was the closest to truth he's ever come to telling me.

I did ask him straight out last night if he knew what the Illuminatti had in their plans that was coming up...
He went back to the same old speil..'I don't know anything about that stuff'.

To me, the other day, he did reveal something important...because he had denied the existance of the Illuminatti and their association with the Masonic Order for so many years, for him to tell me I was right, was quite a bit..more than he's ever said before.

Seems like you've resisted just dandy considering all the pressure from pretty much your whole family. I've got serious respect for you. The practice of knowledge is science. The 'worship' of knowledge, is Satanism. I'm surprised, but glad curiosity didn't get the better of you, with all the answers right in front of you.

Sounds like he is feeling duped. From what I have learned, the general ranks of the Freemasons are not truly initiated, unless they are found to be of particular usefulness. He was part of something bigger than he understood, and it is probably dawning on him only now.

As far as religious affiliation, I don't think it matters.
My grampa was Swedish Covenant, which is very strict and Calvanistic. I think he went into the Freemasons during his college years. He was a pharmacist, and to my eyes, a very dear man. He was 58 when I was born(and already retired) 91 when he died. He never talked about it. I never even knew he was a mason till I saw his pin on his lapel when he was in his casket. As far as I know, in my life time, he never attended church or masonic meetings. Maybe once he was out of the business world, he was no longer useful for them, nor they for him.

Also, I noticed that Norm Coleman, the former U.S. Senator from Minnesota, who is originally from a large Jewish family in NYC, became a Freemason only after he became a Senator. I thought that was rather curious.

Ummm..If you have a prophet, you can't be a mason.

So Mormons (Joe Smith), Muslims (Muhammad)and Catholics (pope) are excluded.
