Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1107952Belgian beer is excellent. As is most German beer. Even the French do a good lager - 1664! Many countries in North west Europe have very good bears. Belgium focusses on bears of "high fermentation"; Germany more on pilsner like bears. |

Quoting: SaltWaterTaffyI like the double and triple fermented ones like Ommegang too. So far in my experience, I think Belgium wins beer in every category. Is it so good because it's a little fruity? What say y'all? Hoegaarden is yummy!!! "No guts, no glory!" |

Quoting: the prophecyerI prefer Michelob. what do you limeys drink? We don't drink domestic-American chain-beer shit like Michelob, I can assure you! Maybe Budweiser, but, the real Bud, from the Czech Republic, not the fake one brewed in Milwaukee, or wherever. You have a thriving micro-brew industry in the USA. Why not try some of those? A lot of them are superb! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1108143No we did'nt.... Remember: De oude Belgen waren gastvrij en dronken Mede ! 1830? But it's true beer is brewed for over more than 8000 years... Believe me or not but it comes from Palestina. We have a huge amount of different beers and brewery's. Often the smaller ones make the best beers. Quoting: DexieFoozlerThe biggest difference is that we use more herbs - fruits in our beers. As said, we like fermented beers. I do like the strict German brews, from the 1517(?) Law. But, Belgium has got a lot of interesting brews, too! |

I think I can drink a different brand of beer every day for the next couple of years. And some of course are above comparison. say Leffe and Duvel and Hoegaerden and boy, oh boy, this is so gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood |

Rabbi Ovadia Yosef: "The goyim were born only to serve us Jews. Without that, they have no place in the world - only to serve the people of Israel. Why are gentiles needed? They will work, they will plow, they will reap. We will sit like an effendi (a lord or master) and eat. That is why gentiles were created October 18, 2010 as quoted in the Jerusalem Post |

Quoting: DexieFoozlerThe biggest difference is that we use more herbs - fruits in our beers. As said, we like fermented beers. German lager beers are bottom-fermented, in cold conditions, therefore must be served cold, to be palatable. The very thought of drinking a WARM lager makes me want to spew! Many Belgian, and British, beers, are top-fermented, in ambient, room-temperature conditions, and should be served the same way. A typical British "bitter" beer should be served at around 15 to 18 degrees C. If frozen, like the usual American lager, it is tasteless. |
