GaGal User ID: 1013803 United States 09/16/2010 03:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This happens to me a lot. I use my terrier to flush out the chipmunk and then catch it with something, big plastic cup, sometimes use the broom to sweep it out, try to get it out safely and alive. Sometimes the kids help steering it towards the door. If all else fails, I let the terrier do what it does best. Sorry, but one summer this happened 20-30 times. I like to leave the back door open for air and just couldn't spend all my time chasing a chip monk. Good luck. |

I ushered the cat inside so I could see what it had. I decided to rescue it and had it my bathroom. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1020518It decided to bite me as a thank you. Mine does this too, although usually dead. I got sick of it and gave him a collar with a bell on it. I HATE the bell, but when hes outside it gives wild animals a chance to hear him coming. |

But it doesn't stop critter from coming in the yard. Quoting: HickoryI like Chipmunks too. . . How can one possibly "cat proof" a back yard? . . I watched her even outrun a fox. Squirrels are very brave and strong, They always have fun and look like they are smiling. There is a good deal people could learn from watching them. |

Everyday one waits for me at the kitchen window for me to give him peanuts. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1093915Yeah real cool especially if you have nice flower beds that they dig up and ruin... Along with their buddies the tree rats....... |
