....Despite being a god of sunlight, Shu was not considered to be a solar deity. He was, though, connected to the sun god as one who was thought to bring Ra (and the pharaoh) to life each morning, raising the sun into the sky.

During his travels through the underworld, he protected Ra from the snake-demon Apep, with spells to counteract the serpent and his followers.

He participated in the judgement of the deceased in the Halls of Ma'ati as the leader of aggressive, punishing beings who were to eliminate the ones not worthy of the afterlife....

The serpent ladder is a wormhole used for traveling the multiverse. The 8 spoked wheel is the symbol for the Galactic alignment on dec 21, 2012

The one four down and three over of the pope and some cloaked "death" figure watching over the burning of, I'm assuming, Joan of Arc....griping symbolism....

....There are no known temples to Shu, but despite Akenaten's distaste for the gods of Egypt, he and Nefertiti used Tefnut and Shu for political purposes.

There is a similiar story in every culture...ophiuchus is another tale of this entity.

He was a cool feathered serpent motherfucker. Alleged to have been a bearded white man who gave knowledge to ancient tribes in South America. The knowledge included the mayan calendar. Some think that he was a viking. Opposed ritual human sacrifice (Unlike most other "gods" including the beloved yahweh and jesus). Left and promised to return.

Pictures of entities from ancient times don't necessarily depict the actual entity.

Rather you despise entities that you've never been in contact with or not, you, me, and them are all of the same essence.

Lucifer is the light bearer and was forced down to Earth.

Quetzalcoatl is an ascended master.

Ra is an entity that messed up in aiding civilizations in the past and also the builder of the Great Pyramid of Giza which was supposed to be used for awakening and healing.

The first of the nine hells began the day Cortez landed on the coast of Tampico. At the end of the ninth hell (2012) Quetzal-coatl (Plumed Serpent) in Mayan (Kukulkan) will remove his mask and reveal who he really is. He was refered to as the Bright Morning Star and the Bright Evening Star. Three cycles are inherent in the great calendar of Mexico (not the Aztec or Mayan calendar but both.) Solar, Lunar and Venusian. Some say that in his revelation at the end of the ninth hell he will be his brother Tezcatlipoca the one who carries the smoking mirror of death!

There are many indications that he was actually a great prophet of his time and wandered the Americas preaching peace and brotherhood. He has been atributed for the building of the great learning center at Monte Alban. Some say that he was Osiris who made his way over during a journey to the east and upon his return to Egypt it was Mexico that he described as the Reed Fields where the house of Maat was. It is interesting to note that one of the titles given to Mayan Priests is Keeper of the Meeting House Maat. There is much more and I could go on but I hope I have answered some of your question!

One more thing, A mural was uncovered in a cave in Mexico that had been humanly covered up with sand and gravel When uncovered it revealed in vivid colors Warriors of the Jaguar men (most likely Aztecs) killing Men dressed in the garb of the Quetzal, some believe this was an eradication fo the priesthood of Quetzalcoatl in the later years after his disappearance, and before the coming of the Spaniards!
