Smiley's aren't portable. If GLP created a defacto sarcasm font standard, that could be used in all text, that would be something that would endure.

It could even be named "sarcasm".

And the best part, TPTB wouldn't be able to do a damn thing about it!

I'm always amazed at how people take things seriously, that were obviously intended for a joke! Not sure a special font would cure that!

The lack of vocal tone and facial recognition make sarcasm a difficult task on internet forums.

Plus i't so much fun when are taking it seriously, start debunking it and then feel proud about it.
