Russia elects first black politician!!!!

Jean Gregoire SAGB has 48 years, is a native of Benin and is the first black to hold a political office in the history of Russia.

According to the Associated Press, quoted by the Folha de Sao Paulo, SAGB be one of the ten city councilors Novozavidovo in Russia, with about 48 000 inhabitants, having received the support of the mayor, Vyacheslav Arakelov.

"Your skin may be black, but inside he is Russian, as only a Russian could worry about this place like he cares," said the head of the city.

In a country where racism is a trait of society, almost as much as corruption within the political class, SAGB break the two barriers: In addition to being black, is known to be one of the honest representatives of the class.

The new Alderman Novozavidovo emigrated to Russia in 1982 to study economics at Moscow State University, where he met his wife, a native of the city which now represents, and to which he moved in 1989.
