OK, got the burner, installed it, cleaned out dustbunnies from hell from the CPU.
The burner rips and plays fine, but when I try to burn a playlist in Windows Media Player, it will burn the first and perhaps the last song, but I get a red icon/white X and message on the rest: 'Windows Media Player encountered an error while burning. Verify that the burner is connected properly and that the disc is clean and not damaged.'
I've tried different brand discs, but I get the same problem. First and last selection burns but the rest error.
What's up with that? Anyone know what to do to remedy this. I have a bunch of playlists I want to burn (condensing my extensive library for my bug-out-bag)
