Diversity
I really want to understand....why does my journey have to be the same as your journey to be right?

Why do my views have to somehow "mesh" with another's?

Why can't I incorporate and divulge the information that I glean (even if it is the same information that others glean) in my own way?

Am I not putting things together from my own perspective and accumulation of experience?

Why can't we all just let people do that?

Why does it have to be a certain way?

Re: Diversity
Well, I could be wrong, but I believe, diversity is an old, old wooden ship that was used during the Civil War era.

If you ask me, the only way to make your "journey" worthwhile is to follow your own path....never dismiss good advice given by fellow travelers though, at least listen to it.

I do not want, exprect or care that your journey be the same as mine. I can't help expecting the destination to be the same tho...

I get that feeling too. But gotta let each experience their own journey though right?

I agree!

I went through a living hell trying to live my life by other people rules.

Hallo Nikki! Yep. I don't play by anyone else's rules anymore. I play by mine. Culture and societal norms don't tell me what is the right way to live in this world.

I live it on a wing and a prayer and what feels right and true on any given day. It's between me and my maker.

YES! we all don't learn the same way, so if we all had the same journey, a lot (if not all except one) wouldn't learn a thing...the right teacher for the right student, the right word for the right listener and so on...

Every experience holds a lesson. Every puzzle is put together differently. No two people would put the same 1000 pc puzzle together in the exact same order.

We are drawn to the easy pieces first. It's the latter ones that take more time and thought.

lol... Depends on where the thought is originating doesn't it? Some automatically equate "thought" with mind. But the mind of the physical is different than the mind of "God".

It's got something to do with making the three in to one.... ;)
