I think bellsouth and AT&T are throttling connection speeds. I have paid for DSL extreme access and only getting these speeds: It NEVER syncs at the correct speed:

FRI JUN 25 02:27:55 2010 US Margin: not defined DS Margin: 6.0

FRI JUN 25 02:27:55 2010 US Tx Power: not defined DS Tx Power: not defined

FRI JUN 25 02:27:55 2010 US DSL Rate: 512 kbits/sec DS DSL Rate: 1184 kbits/sec

FRI JUN 25 02:27:55 2010 WanMgr reports DSL is UP

Anyone else having these issues?

YES! YES! YES!

Ever since we upgraded to the max package two months ago, we've had terrible service. We were told by AT&T to replace the router, which we did, and it hasn't helped a bit. In fact, we go for hours without service at least once a week.

Complaining has not done any good so far. They just keep blaming the router. And the guys at the router place are just about fed up, said they have been taking the heat for months now. And sure enough, they were able to prove it was not their product causing the problem.

I'm in Austin...where are you? WOuld you mind if I use your posting as proof to AT&T that it is not my equipment causing the problem?
