I vacationed at Panama City Beach last weekend...

There was no oil, no smell of oil and the seaweed was at normal levels for this time of year. The water was as clear as could be until 1 or 2 p.m. The seaweed moved in quite heavily then.

No oil as of yesterday a.m.

Oh, and some of the pics showing brown or green stuff on the beach as oil... well, some of it is complete and utter BS. Seaweed that sits on the sand looks the same at varying times.

I'll be going back within the next 10 days and will post my experience. I've got a few pics to upload as well from this trip. Will do in a few.


It's devastatingly horrific, but fantasy needs to be set apart from reality.
