Florida Gov. Charlie Crist approves statewide use of unpopular traffic cameras

Florida drivers opposed to red light cameras have lost their battle against the use of the devices. Governor Charlie Crist signed the Mark Wandall Traffic Safety Act into law yesterday, which allows their use statewide.

Despite complaints from drivers about their fairness and legality, supporters claim that red light cameras will make Florida roads safer.

We get the powers over us that we've earned collectively. Humanity, as a whole, is self-interested, shallow, ignorant, violent and immoral; small wonder, therefore, that our leaders (secret or otherwise) reflect that. You want better leaders, become better people.
