Massive gas leak reported near Boca Chica Beach Authorities are at the scene of a massive gas leak near Boca Chica Beach. Brownsville Fire Department Chief Lenny Perez told Action 4 News that the incident at a gas rig off State Highway 4 towards the beach. Perez said there was a "rupture" at the rig.
