I have never been to China, but I have(had) a most dear Chinese friend who had three beautiful and talented children; I can only imagine that most of her people must also be dear, and beautiful, and respectful, and we ourselves might wish to be more like you. If you look at the USGS site, you will see that they said that they stopped listing earthquakes from outside the U.S. that are under 5 starting in 2009. So you can't get an accurate count of smaller earthquakes from that site.
