Had Easter breakfast at a cozy restaurant in their quaint little courtyard. Eggs Benedict over crab cakes and a spicy Bloody Mary. Hubby had bacon, ham, and cheese omelet with a Mimosa.

Stick a fork in me. I'm done!

Re: The Menu for Your Easter Day?
Is Easter one of those holidays where families get together and have a traditional dinner, like Thanksgiving, et al.? I've been on my own without a family for the past 6 years, since I was 17, so I'm not too keen on these things.. but I don't remember Easter being one of those "big deal" holidays, where you have a traditional big meal.

Sounds fabulous! Bloody Marys are great at brunch!

Mimosas are good, but I'd rather have chambord with champagne. YUM!

Our families do and most friends do as well.

6 years is a long time to be without family... Would be glad to have you over to ours, AC. hf

It is for us. We had the children and grandchildren over yesterday. We played baseball in the park and then wandered around the lake for a while. Came home and had a very nice meal:

Potatoes roasted in olive oil, fresh basil, garlic, and oregano.

Carrots rolled in butter and sprinkled with fresh thyme.

Garlic bread.

Filet mignon on the barbeque sprinkled with garlic.

Apple crisp and strawberry rhubarb pie with whipped cream.

And a nice bottle of merlot for the adults and raspberry cranberry juice for the kids.

It was a lovely family day.....
