They are privy to A LOT of information that ends up having tremendous impact on the market, yet they are not regulated one little bit. If you knew a certain tech was going to be needed (in the billions of $)in a certain industry, wouldn't you want to buy stock in the company BEFORE it happened while it's still cheap? Of course you would, but you're not privy to that info. It's an unfair advantage. They should be regulated at least if not totally ineligible to play the markets. |
