What kind of colloidal silver are you talking about? Home made colloidal silver? Silver from proven professionals that make colloidal silver? Or even further yet; Chemical Free Colloidal Silver?

Silver has been proven and *documented in medicals books since 1914 that silver has been used as treatment of viral and bacterial symptoms. I know this is an older post but I need to say something. You folks can go ahead quoting Wikipedia till you turn blue in the face. Wikipedia is NOT an official repository of scientific information and fact. Anyone can put any 'credible-sounding' article on Wiki and until it is disputed or corrected or edited, what is there is only an opinion ... PLEASE! The term "in vitro" means OUTSIDE THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT. In the case of Ionic Silver, it was effective against pathogens such as harmful bacteria and viruses such as HIV in the PETRI dish. That's because the petri dish did not contain the other substances that render Ag+ useless ... substances such as potassium chloride (found in the blood) and other chlorides found in the body in a wide and varied abundance to say nothing of the available chloride provided by HCl in the stomach. So please people, get your scientific nomenclatures and facts straight. Whatever Ag+ gets into the blood turns into Silver Chloride almost as fast as it does in the stomach. It'll kill whatever is in you mouth though ... like cankar sores .... it also does a number on toenail fungus... bet ya didn't know that either!

ABSTRACT

A qualitative and quantitative investigation was undertaken to study the susceptibility of unicellular eucaryotic organisms (yeasts) to metallic cations generated by low levels of direct current. Results were characteristic of effects obtained previously using clinical and standard bacteria test organisms. The present study demonstrated that anodic silver (Ag+) at low direct currents had inhibitory and fungicidal properties. Broth dilution susceptibility tests were made on several species of Candida and one species of Torulopsis. Growth in all isolates was inhibited by concentrations of electrically generated silver ions between 0.5 and 4.7 µg/ml, and silver exhibited fungicidal properties at concentrations as low as 1.9 µg/ml. The inhibitory and fungicidal concentrations of electrically generated silver ions are lower than those reported for other silver compounds.

Nine years ago today, I started a thread on a forum called goldismoney2. It was a forum created by people who believe in investing in Precious Metals. It was unique, not allowing any commercial content whatsoever. Any advertising or product promotion was strictly forbidden. It was well-moderated and allowed complete freedom of expression for the members. If the members did not engage in obnoxious behavior, they could express themselves freely. I chose this forum as it was the only one I could find with a section concerning Alternative Health topics, including colloidal silver. It was the only place to get honest information about colloidal silver. Someone in a colloidal silver business, every other source I can find, or they advertise on the site. Let's face it. If you accept money from somebody, you will not criticize them for what they say. Once you take money from someone, you are their prisoner. Let's not kid ourselves. Money Talks, BS walks. Goldismoney2 is supported entirely and only by occasional contributions by the members.
I gave the three most important factors I had found for making colloidal silver. Many members of goldismoney2 had been making colloidal silver for years. They used various methods, and many had colloidal silver generators from multiple manufacturers.
Sadly, it is no more. The plug has been pulled. The good news is that I have been able to capture images of all 1000 posts on the thread. They are available for viewing at:
