It would suck to be a fish! Especially if you are a deep sea fish. That's a lot of weight during an earthquake. Amazing what forces they can handle!

watch the animals/wild life--- it will give us signs///

I was attacked by birds walking into Del Taco yesterday (LA,CA). Just as I reached the door, two birds flew down and hit my arm.

The book I'm reading right now (The Seven Mysteries of Life- Guy Murchie) has a section on deep sea life. It's a whole nother world down there that we know very little about. Almost like a different planet.....

More fish
Those concerns have been stoked by the unexplained appearance of a fish that is known traditionally as the Messenger from the Sea God's Palace.

The giant oarfish can grow up to five metres in length and is usually to be found at depths of 1,000 metres and very rarely above 200 metres from the surface. Long and slender with a dorsal fin the length of its body, the oarfish resembles a snake

:5:
Each time a person stands for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he or she sends forth a tiny ripple of hope. And crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance. Few are willing to embrace the disapproval of their fellows, the censure of their colleagues, the wrath of their society. Moral courage is a rarer commodity than bravery in battle or great intelligence. Yet it is the one essential vital quality for those who seek to change a world that yields most painfully to change. "Thousands of dead fish have washed up on a lagoon in Rio de Janeiro, a city in Brazil.

Environmental officials are trying to work out what happened.

Some think it could be due to a type of algae that takes oxygen out of the water, which means the fish can't breath.

But others believe that sewage that had been pumped onto beaches nearby may be the cause.

Leah reports on why people in the area want the government to step in and help. "

Re: More Fish on the Move
Trouble with the Gulf Stream is my guess.

Or magnetics?
 Quoting: Full Circle

That might be it...we know birds migrate using the magnetic fields. I live in BC and we have a species of grosbeak totally new to our area. The first pair arrived about 3 summers ago, this past summer there were big flocks of them. Prior to that, they never usually migrated north of Oregon/southern Washington.

And, though we did have an unusually mild winter and extremely early spring, I don't think it is just the weather. Pelicans have drifted this far north and they are supposed to be in California. We've also had jellyfish migrations up the coast and more and more "lion mane" jellies in these waters and along beaches, very unusual.

So schools of fish navigating by magnetics would not surprise me at all, in fact, it makes complete sense. The magnetic field has been very very active lately, and the magnetic north pole has been swinging around the Arctic rather erratically in recent years. Couple that with a very active sun, increased earthquake activity, freaky weather - no wonder animals and plants are acting strange (last summer we had a magnolia bloom again in August when all the leaves were on it, never seen one do that in my life).

There was a thread a few days back about the CME and sunspot activity being connected to earthquakes in a causal way, so I paid attention and said "well, if this guy's right, then there will be a quake within 12 hours" and there was. It has to be the effects on the magnetic field from a CME, the sudden increased activity of the sun which had been strangely quiescent for many many months and now a spate of large earthquakes, someone was bound to look at it, and I find the arguments very very convincing.

I don't believe in manmade "global warming" but I am firmly convinced that we are in the midst of radical "climate change" and my gut is telling me we might even be in for a mini-Ice Age. With all these huge earthquakes happening so close together (and go on USGS, you'll see Chile is still rockin' and rollin' like a cosmic jackhammer), what are all those vibrations doing to the whole system? What would happen if a couple of volcanos were to let go? The ash and dust in the air could bring about a very sudden cold spell and then things would really go haywire. It has happened in the past and will most certainly happen again. Perhaps we are at the threshold of this normal cyclical activity.

Maybe that's why "Big Doom" scenarios are contained within all religions, it's from the collective memories of all the previous disaster epochs, come down in stories that then get codified into religious dogma, so that people stop taking some of the descriptions literally.

I'm glad people are posting these unusual occurrences, it gives people a chance to really start connecting the dots. Thanks for this, and to the other OP who posted about the oar fish in Japan. These things are significant, imho.
