[quote:Anonymous Coward 83050270:MV81MjkzOTY4Xzk3NTc1ODQwXzc4NzQ3RjNC] [quote:Anonymous Coward 79334958:MV81MjkzOTY4Xzk3NTc1NTA0XzEzQURFRDc1] First, I wouldn’t call a 16 year old a child. It’s a young adult/teenager. Second… how many people are we talking? Why not use a percentage of total population instead of a percentage of an increase? Going from 1000 people to 3000 people is a 300% increase sure but still a tiny percent of the total population. Third, the government promotes anti-peer pressure. Peer pressuring someone to get surgery is not something that the government does. Maybe people, friends and parents yes, but not the government. Fourth? Why does this matter to society or to people who are unaffected by it? It makes no difference if people transition from one gender to another.
Because we do have to pay for it as a society in many, many ways. With money and with societal burdens for everyone and for those in the military and mon medicaid assistance. For their transition, for more bathrooms and locker room accommodations, for the insanity it causes in bible thumping heterosexual who believe it is an abomination, for prison accommodations, transitions, thru loss of life due to shootings, suicides, mental health jn general caused by the increasing numbers of them in general due to the normalization of it. We all are paying for it every fucking day...can you not see it? I could go on with so many more ways we are paying....
