Don't do anything crazy like get rid of your house or your material things. a friend of mine told me he had some relatives with quite a lot of land in the Ozarks and they were so sure Jesus was coming in a year or two. they sold it all and waited for the second coming believing they would be up in the clouds and didn't need their home. We're talking about 1960.
Another local person had about the same idea and sold his farm(in ND) and my dad ended up buying it. About 1964. By chance I ran into his nephew a few years ago and his uncle said that was the biggest mistake he make in his life.
So as you can see over zealous Christians blew it big time.
Jesus did say no one knows the day it happens.
