[quote:The Alkahest:MV81MTY4MjY2Xzk0OTU0MzY4XzNFMTYxMTg=] Your words reflect my own feelings on this matter. Life in general is a gift, but being born into a prison where Imagination and freedom have been snuffed out and made unattainable is a mockery of life. Live free or die, that's my opinion. Granted, there seem to be many people that would rather live as automatons and slaves, but upon closer inspection, you will find that most of these people only think they are happy. We now have an entire generation that has been conditioned to believe in a lie and have never been shown the splendor of a life well-lived in freedom and compassion. They have been made emotionally fragile and volatile on purpose, so that natural social interactions with the slightest element of conflict evoke a sense of existential dread. They have been made dependent on the accolades of peers and celebrities and any social rejection causes them actual pain. They want to feel a part of something greater than themselves, but the media paints a picture of a dystopian world and sells it to them as a utopia. Fearing being called "wrong" by their friends and their idols, they blindly follow the controlled narrative of groupthink to avoid the pain of rejection. Deep within themselves, they know that they are still miserable, they know that there is something wrong with this world, but they dare not dig deeper - that would shatter their Illusion. The vision of the world put forward by the WEF is disturbing anti-human. If such a work were to come to fruition, our children would know nothing but unfulfillment and banal misery for the rest of their lives.
I think there may have been times and places when life was a gift for people. The first 150 years of America may have been a time when life was a gift because freedom was possible.
My belief is that life in a world without freedom is not a gift. Being born as a slave with no hope of being able to break free is a curse. That's the situation we face today. Modern life is a curse in my opinion.
