[quote:Anonymous Coward 81918683:MV81MDE5MzY3XzkxOTIwMzYwXzE3ODcwMjM2] [quote:Anonymous Coward 6745000:MV81MDE5MzY3XzkxOTE5MTQ3XzgyRjkxNDIz] The Immaculate Conception is about the circumstances surrounding the Virgin Mary's origin. Note...Because of the sin of Adam and Eve... All human beings are tainted by that "original sin"... However Mary because she was chosen to be the mother of the Messiah ... She was born free of that original sin. Remember..."You cannot put new wine into old wine skins."
so the virgin part was not literal? i would think at 13 she would be a virgin...hopefully...but it says she was one after birth as well
Serious questions for those who know the ins and outs of the bibble.
1) Mary in the catholic church is referred to as QUEEN. Why? They don't call Joseph, her husband KING. What is the source of the claim QUEEN?
2) It was an immaculate conception, right? Which means Joe didn't insert his male organ. A couple is not considered married in the catholic church until they have copulated...in fact before copulation occurs a marriage can easily be dissolved. Also, if a guy can't get it up, the couple is never married in the eyes of the church.
3) If no sex, then Mary was a single mom and there was no marriage.
4) If it was a virgin birth, then Mary is still a virgin and unmarried, correct?
I could go on and on, but let's start wit that.
Thanks
