I had her funneling pure cranberry juice for 2 days but it wasn’t getting better. I took her to the Urgent Care across from my neighborhood. I’ve used them before, they are always great. Her Dad wanted me to get her antibiotics, I’m giving her everything I’ve got here in my supplement arsenal but apparently it isn’t working. She’s pretty dramatic but I don’t want to take the risk, especially when her Dad is on my ass about it. This is in Florida. We go in, masks REQUIRED. FFS. Back to the car to get masks. We go in and there are about 50 people in there. Lovely. The lady calls me up to the desk and asks a few questions, then she asks: “is she up to date on her vaccinations” me: NO. Her: well we won’t be able to see her then. Me: seriously? Her: Yes, seriously. I spun around so fast in sheer anger and high tailed myself out of there before I caught a case! This was late this afternoon. I’m going to call her pediatrician first thing in the morning. This child has never had any vaccinations ever. Not a one and never will. Unbelievable.
I was just in urgent care with a loved one myself, but in NYS first off, if you were asked if she was up to date with vaccinations. You should have said yes. Covid vaccines are not required like other childhood vaccines are, so as long as shes up to date with all REQUIRED vaccines for the state of florida(or whatever state one happens to be in), legally, you can say "yes, she is" Another tactic being used is "I decline to answer about vaccine status due to people getting different treatment based upon their answers which is now documented" aside from that, I honestly dont believe this happened, I think this is a troll, but if it did happen and this company has the guts to try to play that game, more than likely, they will try to get away with it by claiming they denied you service due to being over capacity. When I got to the Urgent care, we were one of the last patient to be accepted. By nys mandates they can only have so many people in the facility at a time and can not take in more once they have reached capacity. I guess there is an exception that can be made in certain extreme circumstances so the secretary has to ask why they are there before she turns them away. If this really did happen to you, im sorry for what you went through. Things are going way tooo far and thats true whether or not your story is
[quote:Anonymous Coward 77038832:MV80OTg5MzIwXzkxMjkyMjIzXzc4NzdFNEEz] [quote:J-lee:MV80OTg5MzIwX0RERUE4RDA5] So my teenage daughter has what seems to be a UTI. If so, I shouldn’t of paid to join finally after about 15 years.
