In the books it is stated that Bond served in the Royal Navy in the WWII ... which would make Bond around 100 years old now. They should have called it a day after the last Moore Bond. Bond was in retirement age then. It turned in to shit afterwards, the biggest mistake was to make it more serious, so they didn't have the innocent charm and humor anymore. They criticize the old Bond being a male chauvinist, of course he was and that how it was supposed to be, the movies were fantasies catering to men or little boys inside men ... all the fancy cars, beautiful women and amazing gizmos ... every movie introduced some new thing like paragliders and water scooters ... Bond never needed to practice anyhting he handled every new device and vehicle perfectly first teime he did it ... as the movies were cartoon like fantasies it was also easier to stomach the British delusion of grandeur in them, in the real world the British Empire was finished for good around the time Bond started his movie career. Maybe it was partly a compensatory fantasy, portraying the UK still big and important, on equal footing with America operating all around the world. Serious, politically correct Bond really is like the dumbest idea ever.
My Dad was a real James bond of sorts.... He was sent on secret excursions into N korea and china during the korean war... He had to sign a waiver to not speak about it for 50 years... He revealed his military missions to me on his deathbed.... The potus should not have fired McArthur....
Original Message
I just went to the latest James Bond movie (No time to Die) and was very disappointed!!!!!! What the hell!!! WHY did they have to kill off Bond??? Did Daniel Craig insist on this so he wouldn't be type-cast into that role?? And I guess this latest Bond Movie basically said that Q was gay....
They took a formula that has worked for 50 years and ruined it!!
Supposedly Bond will return (they will announce new actor in 2022).....
But in what form?? They killed James Bond off, so I don't know how they move forward??
1) will it be another 007 (not named James Bond??)
2) will the future Bond movies be pre-quals to his death?
3) will it be a LGBTQRST woman/man?? (even my liberal kids said a woman bond would be a "disaster").
I don't have a good feeling about the future of the Bond franchise anymore....
Everything I enjoy in life is being ruined by ultra left culture!!!
