It hijacks host DNA/RNA, and uses it to self-replicate - the very definition of "parasite" Antiparasitic drugs attack the viral hijacking and self-replication. When you get into the biology of it, it's very clear that anti-parasitics work on viruses for the same reasons they are effective against parasites. . . Similar reasons why anti-parasitics also are highly effective against multiple forms of cancers, bringing many cancers that are resistant to normal therapies into full remission in many cases. . . There are many reasons they are trying to block anti-parasitic drugs. . .
You are so correct. I have been on an anti-parasite called fenbendazole for 22 months to fight cancer. Fenbendazole is a dog dewormer that I have taken and there are many threads on GLP about this drug for cancer. While taking fenbendazole everyday, I have not gotten Covid yet have been exposed to people that get it all the time. SO it has got to be the anti-parasite properties that are also anti-viral.
Or it could be that covid is actually caused by a parasite. Toxoplasmosis has all the same symptoms. Could be that most of us are infested with parasites who are not causing us too much trouble, nothing some pharmaceuticals or a healthy diet can't cope with. Most people who've been infected with parasites show no symptoms. Until... Until maybe something changes in our lives which gives the little buggers an advantage over us, and we develop symptoms. According to this and other sources, all viruses are obligate parasites.

Obligate parasites are parasites which depend on a host for survival.
Obligate parasites are parasites.
All viruses are obligate parasites.
All viruses are parasites.
Then why do we call them viruses?
Why don't we call them parasites?
