It's 1000 (official) times more contagious than the others.
Hmm, well that's interesting. My wife and I go out to shop at least once a week here in Cali. It's always busy out here so there's no way to avoid crowds. I would be really surprised if we both have not been exposed to it in 2020. I knew someone recently back in my home states of Kansas, he is 77 or 78, and he got delta last week. He had to go to the hospital for a few days in Wichita. He was unvaxxed, and he recovered. No word on if he had permanent damage, but he did get out and seems okay.
And your point is ...?
I was just sharing info. Not sure what to make of everything going on right now. I live in Eugene, OR and I’m seeing in the news our hospitals are at capacity like this - [

My neighbor works on one of the Covid floors in this hospital. She used to think this was BS too, because when we last locked down, she said they only had 3 Covid patients. Now they have 36 on ventilators and quite a few more going to need them soon. She says she’s been seeing more people in their mid 20’s- early 40’s coming in and says it’s mostly unvaccinated people. I’m not shilling for the vax, I haven’t taken it myself. But I’m curious what is it like in the rest of the country? What is the vaxxed vs unvaxxed ratio like in your hospitals? Are they at capacity too?
