A bunch of people 1000x smarter than you ever will be designed backups upon backups upon backups, the internet cant just break. Just close this thread, its clear you have never worked in a technology role.
And people 1000x smarter than us are discussing how to take it offline and force us to disconnect. They clearly have a plan. They want to find ways to control the wild Wild West of the internet. They obviously cannot take it all down, they need it. But you bet your ass they will find ways to disrupt. Notice in the OPs copy and paste from the WEF website… it says in order to fix it we HAVE to take it offline. Which sounds like they will demand it and they literally say cyber lockdown. I’m sure before Covid we never imagined the entire world going on lockdown… right? Voluntarily?
The only way to stop the exponential propagation of
cyber-COVID
would be to fully disconnect all vulnerable devices from one another and the internet to avoid infection.
The whole world could experience cyber lockdown until a digital vaccine was developed
. All business communication and data transfers would be blocked. Social contact would be reduced to people contactable by in-person visits, copper landline, snail-mail or short-wave radio.
A single day without the internet would cost the world more than $50 billion. A 21-day global cyber lockdown could cost over $1 trillion.

This is the plan now as to when they do it.
