House:MV80ODM1ODQ5Xzg4MjcwODA5X0UyNDNDNTM3] You guys making more of this than it is are ASSHOLES and do not help the investigative community. The building had huge amounts of saltwater periodically in the garage under the building. That destroys steel reinforced concrete after time. This was a disaster that was decades in the making. As for the quick demolition? They did no environmental prep or salvage, they only needed to wire columns on one or two floors. All the BS work was eliminated because it was an emergency order. I live down here and have seen the problems involved with these buildings on the coast. You will see quite a few more abandoned in the near future. In fact what is coming is what you should be talking about. This will drastically affect the market for high end condos down here. In the late 1920's Florida had one of the largest land booms experienced in the US to that time. One ship being grounded and blocking the Miami Channel and then shortly later a devastating hurricane brought that developmental house of cards to an abrupt collapse. Things didn't perk up again down here for over two decades after that.
Seems you're the ASSHOLE since you're apparently incapable of recognizing a controlled demolition if it were shoved up your ass. And, who cares about the land boom in the 20's... WTF does that have to do with this? What's with all this talk about foundation issues when the initial collapse started at the top floor. This demolition is textbook... sequential flashes floor by floor top-down followed by the collapse. Unmistakable. Then the other two collapses follow their own sequence of flashes, albeit, those were from the bottom up. And, the notion that these flashes were caused by electrical wiring is nonsense. The flashes precede the onset of collapse. Plus, many reports of people hearing loud bangs prior to the onset of the demolition and apparent damage in the basement... classic pre-weakening of the structure. Also, reports of what sounded like construction work in the buildings throughout the night in the days preceding the demolition. If you ask all the demolition experts in the country if this was a controlled demolition, they would say obviously yes... except for one... and that's the guy that did this building. So, quit calling people names ASSHOLE when you have no idea what you're on about.
You're reading comprehension challenged aren't you. I mentioned what happened in the 20's as a clue to what will happen to the high end condo market in Florida. But go FUCK your self anyway. I stand on what I said. I've as much experience in the field in construction than 99% of the population.
BooHoo... you hurt my feelings... little tear on my cheek. Reading comprehension... how about writing? You'll make the transition from crayon to keyboard in another couple years. Not that this is a bad thing... just keep at it. And, ya... i get the 99% thing. You are definitely one in a hundred. BTW, good job living up to your own tag line.
I am AMAZED how fast they were able to wire that building and blow it up! Almost like it was already wired.....
