White soft sand. It feels much like the ocean. The waves are nice especially if you have a small board you can hang onto and ride them. The water is pretty shallow so excellent for swimming. Life guards during the day but you can stay and hang out into the evening. They have a beach festival every year with a sand castle competition. There is a light house which you can walk/hike to on a natural trail. By the lighthouse are some huge private sunbathing/swimming areas with big rocks to lie on. They are probably concrete slabs but it’s still nice and private. I still go there sometimes just to be alone.
That sounds wonderful! Where is that?
Anyone know of anywhere good to stay and/or visit along Lake Erie... Eyeing Ohio locations.
Wondering if it is just as well to visit there instead of an ocean beach.
Thanks.
