[quote:Whatever It Takes:MV80NzQ3OTg4Xzg2NTAzODc3Xzg4NzEyRjZD] [quote:Pickle Lake:MV80NzQ3OTg4Xzg2NTAzODIyXzg1NkMyRkE2] I'm Orthodox. In our little city, the Orthodox church was on shaky ground before the Covid hit. During the crisis, our priest died and our cantor came out as gay. I don't think the church will be revived after this. We only had the priest in two weeks a month, so the other two Sundays I went to an Alliance Evangelical church. They had many study groups and programs. When the globalists shut down the churches, they continued much of it online, but it is not the same. There is an energy in a building when people are praying and worshipping together that is not present in a Zoom meeting or online service. Lately I have been going to a church that advertises Sunday morning group therapy sessions to circumvent the rules. So far, nobody has been arrested. For Easter, the BC government is allowing church services, provided that that no more than 10% of the hall's seating capacity is used. That means that to serve a congregation of 50 people, you need seating for 500. Our governments are aligned with the AntiChrist. We must resist.
Ugh, that's terrible. It's time for the fellowship to go underground. Shalom, friend. .
So, I've been really angry lately. I can't seem to control it and I feel like I've drifted a million miles away from God.
I decided that I needed to find a place of worship and seek a power greater than myself. I chose a little non-denominational church that is close by.
When I got there, a dude greeted me and informed me that due to a local outbreak of COVID-19, church was cancelled. No further information available.
I'm pretty disgusted by this and I don't think I'm being selfish. When did the "Bride of Christ" become so weak? When did that happen? I'm not sure where to go from here, so I think I'll drive to the mountains and spend some time in prayer.
Final Word: Church leaders, get your act together, please. Find your power again (ref. Book of Acts). Thanks.
