[twitter] https://twitter.com/protect_wldlife/status/979822864366006272?s=21[/twitter]
I was out hunting white tail deer and came across a heart that size laying in the road. Turns our someone who had drawn a once in a life time moose tag, got their moose and left the heart along with the lungs and offal pile for the ravens. Hunting white tail, I came upon a bull moose once laying in the grass. Before I saw it, I could hear it's heartbeat, standing nearly 20 yards from it. I was with my ex at the time and she was with me. When it stood up and looked at us, she began to panic, lol, because we had closed the distance to about 10 yards before getting eyes on it and she was freaked about it's size and being so close. Not only could you hear the heart beat, but you could FEEL it! After it stood up, we slowly back away to a safer distance and it turned slowly and casually walked off the other way. I can tell you on thing though, legal tag or not, I would have shot it if it had charged us, without hesitation, as a defensive measure. Moose can be very aggressive, or equally nonchalant. It absolutely pisses me off when they bed down on my land during deer season. They are territorial and drive the deer off and other than throwing rocks at them, there isn't much I can do. I did think about calling the game warden and telling him to get his damned tagged moose off of my land....
I thought roses and chocolates were for Valentine’s ... killing just for excitement?
This is madness!!
Something is very wrong with humanity!
Van Der Merwe —
who has killed as many as 500 animals including lions, leopards and elephants — said she posted the sickening photo to taunt the animal rights lobby.
“I have no respect for them – I call them the mafia,” she told the Mirror as she recounted the couple’s dream trip to the resort of Sun City.
A friend call to alert her that her dream kill was spotted at the game park.
“I’d waited years for my own perfect bull – the older a bull gets the darker he gets,” she told the outlet. “I love the skin and the fact it’s such an iconic animal for Africa.
“Our plans changed quickly. My wonderful husband Gerhardt knew this was my dream. I was like a child for two weeks, counting the days. Afterwards I was flooded with emotions,” she gushed.
