[quote:Anonymous Coward 80115054:MV80NzI1OTE0Xzg2MjMzMTczXzIzODdCQTY0] [quote:Anonymous Coward 79633373:MV80NzI1OTE0Xzg2MjMzMDMzXzQ2MjkxNTU3] If I do something to help you it builds loyalty to me. Other sorts of loyalty are not so honest such as people who are loyal to those who feed them or else they might die. Most of general society thinks like this. They won't smash the system which oppresses them because it also feeds them. They know of no other way and have not been able to conceive the idea of a better one so they stay loyal out of survival instinct. You help me and I help you creates loyalty which is strong and lasting. Deceivers can make you loyal to them by giving you a little and getting a lot from you but making you think the deal was worth it. Repeated over and over they actually own you and can ask you to do things for them you would not normally do.
" If I do something to help you it builds loyalty to me" Thats a slippery slope right there all too often people will hold that up on other people as a token, ive experienced it all too often that people will want me to do something and if i dont want to they bring it up again and again as an endless bargaining chip as if me and the person were some kind of corperate firms trading shares. If people think that by helping others they gain bargaining chips for later use they do it with the wrong intentions and the relationship between people gets scaled down from freinds to "usefull assets" And that is the END of the freindship.
