It's 9:30 am here in the pacific NW and 6:30 PM for him and he's slumped over on the couch. I saw him about 4 hrs earlier and he was doin a little wobblin around then. I think he usually keeps his drinkin day to Fridays but I think he had some friends around the past few days and that drinkin day may have stretched a little farther than Friday. But that's okay as long as he gets back to his dieting. My drink day is Friday while I've been on a 16/8 intermittent fasting program since 1/17/21. I've lost a little over 50lbs in 5 months and that's with havein Friday as a drinkin day and eat whatever I want on Saturday. Hope he sticks to his regiment as one or two off days does not ruin the whole program. :chandler-bacon:
Wow congrats on your weight loss! :applause2:
Thank you even though I don't feel that I really deserve any praise because of doin all the wrong things to get to the point I was at. I let family issues like deadbeat turd family members leaving my wife and myself to take care of my ailing mother in our home. Some say dementia is so bad for the patient but it's really been almost a saving grace as she just doesn't remember most family members now so doesn't get as sad and upset like she used to. My wife pays more attention and takes more/better care of her than her own kids do. Even the grandkids that used to always come around on days they knew they were gettin money don't call or come to see her as there's no more money. BLAH BLAH BLAH Then I throw two mostly bone on bone knee joints into the mix and the past 6 yrs have just been f ing depressing so I did what many do and found some comfort in food and alcohol. I don't have the alcoholic alcohol problem BUT definitely had the foodaholic problem. I chose to do it despite reasons I could say made me do the excessive eatin n drinkin. Nope...it was all my choosing. Soooo...if I don't lose the weight they won't do the knee replacements. I don't know for sure exactly how much I weighed when I started my diet as the two scales dind't go that high. Last official recorded weight was last yr in August 338. When I started the 16/8 plan I just went by that starting weight but could have been more as it wasn't like I was cuttin back or watchin what I was eatin. Anyway...Friday mornings are weigh day and last Friday I hit 281 but probably need another 50 lost to get on the knee replacement list. Hoping to be at 200 next yr at this time and ultimately hover at the 180-185 range. Only a 100 to go...:chuckle: Oh geez...I may have tried to turn this into a facialbook thread. :kimdowtcwy: :slaphim:
