Just throwing this out there and seeing if it sticks, BUT apparently some Nashville firm owns a LOT of these 1913 Chinese bonds that they want payment on.
They were worth $89 billion in 2002. I remember hearing something recently about this, but wish I could find the story, but here's an older one.
