[quote:President Elect Windsage:MV80NTkyNDE4XzgzNjE0NTM0X0VFNjYyOTMz] [quote:Runningwithscissors:MV80NTkyNDE4XzYwRjAyRUI3] I’m trying to figure it out. I’ve seen it first-hand with several family members on family text. They seem downright excited with the new restrictions placed locally, as mild as they are compared to other places. That’s the only way I can describe it accurately - there’s real energy and excitement about the new restrictions, like they can now become more fully part of the pandemic movie they’re playing in their heads. To be clear, this isn’t about my family members. I’m using them as first-hand experience with how the minds work of those who are compliant. It’s disturbing. It’s like street theatre and they can’t wait to participate. I’m interested in hearing what others’ experiences are with those all on-board with restrictions, and what you think is their motivation behind it. So many people are acting in ways I never thought the majority in society would act like.
My sister is in California. On the phone last night she began talking about how the pandemic is supposed to get REALLY BAD now, very very DANGEROUS. Her tone of voice became more animated and excitable. It sounded like an adrenaline rush and it must be that the fear-hype gives a bit of excitement to an otherwise endless round of masks and social distancing. I live in Idaho and the only time I put on a mask is my Costco prepping trips. I have no fear at all of the second wave as I am fully stocked with natural anti-virals, colloidal silver, much food, guns, and ammo. Also I am sure the test results are skewed and unreliable. My friends are similarly stocked, we are having a lovely time enjoying the snow and fresh air and beauty of nature.
