[quote:Peepaws:MV80NTY0OTM5XzgzMjA0NDI1X0Y4Mzk5MTRG] Something told me to click on this thread. A few years ago my brother and his wife, both in their 50s, went to the grocery store together as usual. They went through the line, paid for the groceries and went back to the car. She sat down in the passenger seat while he put the groceries in the trunk. When he got into the car to drive home, he said something to her but she didn't reply, she was just sitting there. It turns out she had died. He drove as fast as he could to the emergency room, he said he noticed her hand was turning blue on the way. She was dead on arrival. There was nothing he could have done to save her. It's so easy to feel guilty, and run all sorts of things through your mind wondering if you had done this or that, that maybe you could have saved them. I will pray for your aunt, I will pray she makes a full recovery. That is a horrible thing to go through, so I will pray for you too. [/quote]

My aunt needs prayers. This weekend she had a cardiac event and died in my car. I got her to the ER and they brought her back. She is in the ICU right now and its touch and go. I can't go in there because of covid. Please, I don't ask for much, I beg for prayers.
I've never felt so helpless in my entire life, knowing I needed to be doing CPR, but I was driving so all I could do was hold her up with one hand and drive with the other. Time was moving so slowly.
She is alive, but she died two times, and was without oxygen and we don't know the extent of the damage yet because she needs to have a negative covid test before they will do a CT scan on her brain. The results should be back in an hour or two.
