They only have to topple the Government and take charge, they don't need a majority of the population, they will fall into line. France and Russia weren't bloodbaths or civil wars, not until after the revolution and power was taken. The two obvious big revolutionary wars were USA and China. Others were quick and dirty skirmishes. If people don't start standing up this will be over before you know it. If the security details and Armed forces don't stand up then the White House is taken, Government overthrown and America is no more. France and Russia relied on their protection and when needed it wasn't there. This may not be about years...................
Wrong a lot of the nots don't side with the protesters or the rich.
Original Message
While I don't necessarily agree with their tactics, which were inappropriate and tactically unsound, I think the message is clear that these homeowners aren't going to be easily intimidated. Interesting fact: The neighborhood the protestors are in is private property, including the streets. It's a very wealthy subdivision just north of Forest Park, on the west side of Kingshighway.
***ETA***Yes, they had every right to defend their property and persons, however, they should have been much smarter in how they did it.
