I was working in the house for 4 days before I found the formal dining room. This isn't a mansion. It's a castle. Elevators, 2 basements and parlors galore
Yeah, but the millions he spent was actually earned by someone else , wasn't it?
Typical lawyer. Most I've met are condescending. Stems from the English system that holds barristers in a higher position than commoners. This could be another flash point if they arrest the protesters for Tresspassing. The "law" actually is on his side especially him holding the position he holds. For us common folks the Tresspassing statutes and Castle Doctrines would be waived and we'd be charged with brandishing.
Original Message
While I don't necessarily agree with their tactics, which were inappropriate and tactically unsound, I think the message is clear that these homeowners aren't going to be easily intimidated. Interesting fact: The neighborhood the protestors are in is private property, including the streets. It's a very wealthy subdivision just north of Forest Park, on the west side of Kingshighway.
***ETA***Yes, they had every right to defend their property and persons, however, they should have been much smarter in how they did it.
