[quote:Revbo™:MV80NDQwNTAzXzgwODQzNTgzXzFCNURGREY=] [quote:Anonymous Coward 69725706:MV80NDQwNTAzXzgwODQzNTMwXzdCNDg1N0FF] Even if you stay in your urban home, and successfully engage the mob, and end the insurrection, and survive, you then are sued and likely lose all the way to the Supreme Court. And likely will losein 5-4 decision as Roberts joins the leftists. Is it worth it to stay in St. Louis? I say obviously not. You should be in rural Kentucky where the odds are very small of this occuurring. Most likely, if you sell your expensive urban home, you can literally have a redoubt in rural Kentucky and never work a job again in your life. There is that much of a real estate price difference. And yu would be around like minded neighbors too. Why do you think so many conservatives are selling and relocating now? Why do you think even far left liberals are buying AR-15s. They have had epiphanies. They woke up...finally.
I keep telling my sister and her husband, who live in Brooklyn, for the price of their 1 bedroom condo, they could have five bedrooms, ten acres, and two cars where I live in rural Alabama. So far, no takers, though. I hope that 12-year-old can of mace works when "they" take over Williamsburg.
Original Message
While I don't necessarily agree with their tactics, which were inappropriate and tactically unsound, I think the message is clear that these homeowners aren't going to be easily intimidated. Interesting fact: The neighborhood the protestors are in is private property, including the streets. It's a very wealthy subdivision just north of Forest Park, on the west side of Kingshighway.
***ETA***Yes, they had every right to defend their property and persons, however, they should have been much smarter in how they did it.
