How was your heart ripped apart? :hugs:
Just found this thread...and noticed you had asked the MODS to delete your account. I'm sorry to see you go as you seem a kind soul and I just love your avatar handle. Did you get that from the movie "The SiXth Sense" with Bruce Willis? Seeing symbols, shapes, objects that CORRESPOND IN TIME to another topic (thinking about heartbreak and seeing a "HEART" in the smoke--definitely qualifies)...is called 'synchronicity." :KehpraHeart: [face=Verdana]Dr. Carl Jung founder of Analytical Psychology coined the term "synchronicity"[/face] when he noticed a scarab beetle on the window of his office...just as a young patient was reporting to him having a nightmare about bugs and beetles attacking her. He gently placed the beautiful scarab beetle into the hands of his patient and made a significant break- through in her healing due to this appearance of the scarab following literally months of dead-ends in her treatment. It was an "ah-ha moment" for Dr. Jung and people (like me) who study his legacy connect the scarab beetle as a special SYMBOL for his work. For a time I used the Egyptian scarab beetle as my avatar picture. :CoronalHlKhepri: Egyptian Goddess "Khepra"--a scarab beetle with an amazing history and mythology at least 12,000 years old (or older.) So you see...what you saw according to what Carl Jung believed was an important paranormal "sign" for you and not just some random trick of optics. I would, personally, "go with" whatever immediate reaction you felt seeing that heart in the smoke...given you were feeling sad by a lost relationship. Did it seem to awaken you in some way to something you had overlooked before? These "breaks" in the stream of consciousness--due to synchronicity-- according to Carl Jung are important to our emotional health and can be incredibly healing. He even wrote a book about this break through due to the little beetle on the window that day. (God works in mysterious ways, indeed!) Take good care...and if you leave GLP, God's speed. TheOracle'sCookie :KhepriANDjung:
I know this isn't too interesting but saying anyway.I thought it kind of odd in a good way.
So I was sitting here smoking a cig and a PERFECTLY shaped heart floated up and out of it.I mean PERFECT.
I have never seen that in my life.Wish I had taken a photo of it.
And it reminded me of last week.I was driving down the road and something very shiny caught my eye in the sky right above me.It was a red heart shaped balloon that had been let go of I guess.
Yea I know lol-stupid to mention but still, odd.
